Requalify every 5 years. DOT requires breath alcohol technicians to complete refresher training at least every five years (49 CFR §40.213(d)), including a new proficiency demonstration. This course works for both initial qualification and refresher training.

Your Certificate
When you complete the course and pass the final assessment, you receive a downloadable certificate of completion in your name. It documents completion of the knowledge portion of BAT qualification training (49 CFR §40.213(b)); the seven error-free mock tests required by §40.213(c) are completed separately in your live online sessions.
