Get Certable (“Get Certable,” “we,” “us”) provides online training for DOT urine specimen collectors, breath alcohol technicians, and bloodborne pathogens awareness, along with live online mock collection, mock test and error correction sessions and downloadable ebooks. This policy explains what information we collect through getcertable.com and our course platform, and how we use it.
Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and any details you include when you contact us, enroll, register a group, or book a session.
Course and training records: your enrollment, lesson progress, quiz and assessment scores, certificates issued, and mock session results. These records may be needed to document your DOT qualification.
Payment information: payments are processed by our course platform, Thinkific, and its payment processors. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Technical information: like most websites, our site and course platform may collect basic usage data such as browser type, device, pages visited and cookies needed for the site to work.
To provide your course, track your progress and issue your certificate; to schedule and conduct live online sessions; to answer your questions and provide support; to send you messages about your enrollment, such as receipts, access details and reminders; to verify your training when you or your employer asks us to; and to improve our courses and website.
We may send occasional updates about our courses. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Get Certable (for example, our course platform Thinkific, payment processors, email and scheduling tools), when you ask us to (for example, confirming your training to your employer or a group sponsor who enrolled you), or when required by law.
If your employer or another organization enrolled you, we may share your enrollment status, progress, assessment results and certificates with that organization.
We keep training records for as long as needed to provide our services and to support your qualification documentation, and as required by law. You can ask us to delete your information, subject to any records we must keep.
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing us. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our courses are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Our site links to third-party sites such as Thinkific and equipment suppliers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
